Job Requirements:

• Education: Life Science/ Paramedical Graduates
• Certification: CPC Mandatory
• Good subject knowledge in Anatomy, Physiology, Medical terminology & ICD 10
• Good Communication skills

Job Descriptions:

• Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes
• Accurately assign ICD-10-CM codes that map to Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) for risk adjustment.
• Apply official coding and risk adjustment guidelines, including those from CMS, to ensure codes correctly reflect patient conditions.
• Maintain high accuracy and productivity standards for coding and auditing.
• Perform retrospective, concurrent, and prospective audits of coded records to ensure quality and compliance.
• Verify that physician documentation supports the assigned diagnosis codes.
• Identify coding errors, discrepancies, and inconsistencies during audits.
