The minimum eligibility to enroll in the medical coding course is a degree, diploma, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board or council. Candidates with a background in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences are preferred. However, individuals from other disciplines can also apply after evaluation and guidance.

If your graduation is not in life sciences or medical sciences, you can still pursue a career in medical coding by successfully passing certification exams like the CPC, CCA, CCS, CIC, HCS-D etc.
