Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ Years Experience in IP DRG Coding
• Certification: Must be with CPC, CCS, COC
• Qualification: Any Graduates 
• Familiarity with EHR systems & coding software.
• Experience in coding software or Encoder (3M, Truecode, Optum)
• Good understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
• Knowledge in ICD 10 CM, ICD 10 PCS, MS DRG Methodology, Reimbursement, Compliance & Guidelines.

Job Descriptions:

• Review inpatient medical records thoroughly (H&P, Operative Notes, Discharge Summary, Progress Notes, etc.)
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis and ICD-10-PCS procedure codes.
• Ensure correct principal diagnosis selection and DRG assignment.
• Identify MCC/CC conditions appropriately.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Adhere to official coding guidelines and compliance regulations.
• Clarify documentation through the query process when required.
