Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience mandatory

• Certification is mandatory

• Excellent Knowledge in Anatomy.

• Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts and principles

Job Descriptions:

• Compiling, processing, and maintaining medical records. 

• Classifying medical concepts into the healthcare industry's numerical coding system.

• Abstracting key data from the medical information.

• Review and code all documents for inpatient encounters, including surgeries, tests and diagnosis.

• Apply codes, which classify patient cases into groups that are used for reimbursement.

• Code records in a timely manner to meet billing cycles and hospital deadlines.

• Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.

• Communicating with clinical staff.

• Keeping abreast of industry standards.
