Job Requirements:

• Life Science Mandatory

• Certification not mandatory

• Excellent knowledge in Anatomy

• Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts and principles

Job Descriptions:

• Assigning accurate diagnosis and CPT codes using ICD-10 and CPT-4 systems

• Assess the services a radiologist provided to a patient, and determine the procedures ordered and performed. 

• Reviewing a patient's medical records after a visit and translating the information into codes that insurers use to process claims from patients.

• Identifying discrepancies and potential quality of care issues
