Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of specialty experience is mandatory.

• CPC/CCS Certification mandatory.

• Should be good at ED Profee & Facility coding concepts.

• Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Job Descriptions:

• Review patient medical records and abstracts medical data that identify all diagnoses and procedures. 

• Code diagnoses, procedure and appropriate modifiers from the medical record documentation using ICD-10-CM, CPT4/HCPCS classification systems

• Documenting charts and diagnosing patients' illnesses when the provider does not provide adequate information.
