Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IP-DRG Coding.
• CPC or CCS Certification mandatory.
• Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts and principles

Job Descriptions:

• Review inpatient medical records to assign accurate ICD-10-CM and PCS codes
• Adhere to coding clinics and guidelines, and query physicians for clarification as needed.
• Ensure that codes are assigned correctly and sequenced according to government and insurance regulations.
• Collect information from physicians to prepare monthly reports. 
•  Regularly check on the status of accounts that are on hold and follow up with leaders when necessary.
